Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos are certainly making a statement in Paris, turning heads at Haute Couture Week. The 56-year-old former journalist and her husband, the 62-year-old billionaire, launched this prestigious fashion event by attending the Spring 2026 shows from both Schiaparelli and Dior in the iconic City of Light.
At Schiaparelli's show, Sánchez made a bold fashion choice, donning a vibrant fire-engine red skirt suit that seemed to intentionally mirror the attire of fellow front-row guest Anna Wintour, who sported a coat with striking red stripes. To enhance her eye-catching look, she paired her outfit with elegant red suede pumps and sunglasses that echoed the same hue. A standout accessory was her extraordinary alligator handbag featuring the brand’s renowned surrealist face design, complete with gilded lips and nose, which added a unique flair to her ensemble.
This wouldn’t be the first time Sánchez has opted for a piece straight off the runway. In fact, she previously wore a stunning corseted gown from the Spring 2025 collection at her lavish wedding to Bezos in Venice last June.
Bezos, for his part, matched his wife’s boldness with a sleek all-black outfit; however, it was his newly grown silver beard that truly caught attention, showcasing a seasonal style update.
Later that day, the couple was seen arriving together at Jonathan Anderson's much-anticipated Dior couture debut. Sánchez changed her attire to a chic blue-gray skirt suit adorned with fur trim, while Bezos chose a classic navy ensemble.
Their appearances during fashion week come just as they gear up to be the main sponsors of the 2026 Met Gala, scheduled for May 4. They will partner with secondary sponsors, including Saint Laurent and Condé Nast, contributing to the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute exhibition titled "Costume Art."
In between runway shows, Sánchez was spotted enjoying lunch with Wintour, who has publicly supported the couple amidst critiques regarding their sponsorship of the Met Gala. "I believe Lauren will be a fantastic asset to both the museum and the event," the Vogue global editorial director shared with CNN, expressing gratitude for her remarkable generosity.
Sánchez has also been frequenting trendy spots around Paris, dining at Siena restaurant in a stylish black athleisure catsuit complemented by a chic cropped white fur coat.
The Bezoses have established themselves as prominent figures within the fashion community. They were also present at Paris Fashion Week in October, where they attended the debut show of Matthieu Blazy as the new creative director of Chanel and sat front row at Balenciaga.
